grooming tips with Acqua di Parma

We caught up with Acqua di Parma’s International Master Barber, Danilo Mancino, to give us his top five tips…

For close shaves...

Use a warm cloth before shaving (or shaving after a hot shower) to open up the pores so the hairs cut close to the root.

For beards…

Get in touch with your barber to advise on the right shape and proportions for your beard that you can replicate easily at home. Plus, cleansing and moisturising your beard daily is a must.

For sensitive skin…

Try a compress with a cold cloth to relieve razor burn and close-up micro-abrasions, followed by a refreshing, alcohol-free aftershave emulsion that restores the skin’s hydrolipidic film and calms any irritation.

For the scalp…

An obstructed hair bulb (that’s the base of the hair follicle) prevents proper hair growth and can lead to hair loss – so it’s important to detoxify the scalp with anti-pollution products.
