It goes without saying that Daniel Lee has shrugged off
Bottega Veneta's patrimony since his arrival at the Venetian brand, but that's not to say that he undervalues it. Inspired by classic Italian tailoring, the designer spins this double-breasted jacket from a brushed wool-blend then stitches a welt pocket at the chest (inspired by the iconic intrecciato weave, no less). If there was any doubt about why Lee won so many fashion awards this year, now you know.
