Mugwort Mochi. A favourite in Japan, it’s made from sticky rice and comes as a hard block that when cooked becomes golden and crispy on the outside – and gorgeously gooey on the inside. Gluten-free, it has a hearty taste which you can thank the Mugwort for (or Yomogi, in Japanese) – a wild herb famed for its savoury flavour, FYI.
