With a focus on chardonnay varieties,
Tattinger has been creating quality wines since way back in 1932, with every year holding a unique profile thanks to the differing climate conditions. This Comtes Blanc de Blancs blend nods to the legendary Thibaud IV le Chansonnier who, in 1239, brought back a new variety of grape – now known as chardonnay’s ancestor – to France. A cuvée using only juice from the first press and aged for up to 10 years in the cool chalk quarry, its lightly toasted notes are of orange citrus, minerality and stewed pineapple.
