The Skateroom’s story begins with founder Charles-Antoine Bodson, who was inspired, after seeing the work of NGO Skateistan, to set up a creative social enterprise that combined art with skateboarding. The Skateroom’s business model pledges at least 10% of its revenue to social skate and education projects all over the world. By making additional unrestricted funding promises to certain projects, The Skateroom was able to pass its milestone of 1-million-dollars-in-funding in 2020, with plans to accelerate even further.
