Since Olivier Rousteing took over the helm of
Balmain, the Parisian maison has undergone something of a transformation—introducing a new sporty aesthetic to what was previously a traditional brand. For AW20, the Creative Director turns to the archives to inspire this coat, featuring a cosy wool-blend and insulating double-breasted front. Of course, the label is quite accustomed to crafting linear silhouettes and this one is informed by the military world.
