Although Château Margaux started out in 1801, it wasn’t until 2009 that the Domaine added a third wine to its roster. Aged in barrels and bottled after fifteen months, this Margaux is blended from a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes before aged for 15 months in 10% new oak and 90% second use barrels. Deep ruby red in colour, it marries oaky notes with light floral and fruity ones on the nose.
