Omer Asim studied architecture. It’s easy to see how this still plays a part in the design of the British maker's clothing today. Gathering soft silk to create this strappy top, lifting the fabric in some areas and letting it fall in others using wide bands of ribbon, the materials might have changed (there are no bricks and mortar here), he still focusses on shape and form.
