Turning waste into waves for AW21, American artist and designer
Greg Lauren takes deadstock fabric then transforms it into a patchwork masterpiece. A case in point? The
Trucker shirt. Crafted from upcycled cotton (scoring plenty of environmental points), it’s shaped to a relaxed silhouette then fitted with a contrasting denim at the front that resembles your jean jacket’s classic fastening. Signing off with raw hems, it’s what we call “deconstruction” at its finest.
