A marriage of contradictions, the
Du Roy stool pays homage to the central character from Guy de Maupassant’s novel from 1885 “Bel Ami”. Crafted by
Maison Dada from ceramic dipped in a deep smouldering glossy glaze, it is both seemingly fragile yet resilient. Shaped to an eye-catching hourglass silhouette moulded with undulating columns that work their way down the sides and over the top inspired by a king’s throne, the piece is ready for royalty (well, almost).
