COMMON PROJECTS Men's Shoes

Common Projects men's trainers are the brainchild of Prathan Poopat and Flavio Girolami. In the early 2000s, the pair found themselves crossing paths on a regular basis and eventually combined their expertise to create the brand. They launched the label with a desire to make footwear that kept the much-loved conventions of trainers but was smart enough to wear to the office and pair with slimmer-fitting clothes. In challenging themselves to produce this particular product, the Achilles was born.

Now a Common Projects icon, the Achilles borrows elements of dress shoes to fill the gap in the market the duo originally intended to. Think sleek shapes, understated designs and monochromatic colourways. It seems that other trainer creators had a space in their line-up too, as the style quickly cemented itself as a cult silhouette on the sneaker scene. Although the Achilles was first released in all-white leather, Common Projects men's trainers come in various colours and styles, while keeping their fundamental design the same.

Shop the collection that extends beyond the original creation to find colour-blocked leather, chunky flatform soles and the signature foil-printed serial number on each heel. You may even spot some Common Projects suede options that add a sharp and casual element to outfits.
