At the heart of all La Mer skin care is its trademarked Miracle Broth - the result of 12 years of research and some 6,000 experiments. Derived from hand-harvested sea kelp, founder Dr Max Huber unlocked the regenerative powers of this ingredient when he began searching for a remedy for burns-damaged skin after he suffered a lab accident.
