Vans was founded in Anaheim in 1966, favoured by skateboarders who liked the rugged make-up and sticky soles of the shoes – ideal for gripping onto their boards as they tore through the streets of southern California. Look out for the leather panels across our range, designed for durability, as well as the unmistakable side stripe that started life as a doodle by one of the founding brothers. The men's classic slip-on Vans in our selection were first designed in the 70s, crafted with elasticated inserts for easy wearing.
