Albert Bacon Blanton was born in 1881 and was working for the distillery by his 16th birthday. The whole range of Blanton’s bourbons are single barrel, aged in the now-famous Warehouse H, hand-selected and bottled/labelled by hand. The first single-barrel Bourbon ever marketed, this is full and soft with an amber colour and rich, perfumed aromas and flavours of spicy dried citrus peel, caramel, burnt sugar and honey.
