Based on the classic 8-eyelet 1460 boot, named after its date of inception on 1st April 1960, the 1490 is its 10-eyelet iteration. The 1460 Dr. Martens style that we all know and love is traditionally equipped with an air-cushioned sole, which along with yellow stitching and heel loops is the brand's signature. The 1490, however, takes it to another level, with an even chunkier sole that happens to be perfectly on trend with this season's craze for thick soles.
