Following in his father Marc Colin’s footsteps, Joseph Colin started producing wines under his own name in 2017. He believes that many vintners pick their grapes too late, and this 2021 vintage Chassagne Montrachet is a compelling argument in favour of his preferred earlier harvest date. Its sweet, creamy nose gives way to notes of white flower, rosemary oil and apple, while on the palate, it offers a plump texture and a balanced, lingering finish.
