Did you know that Krug Champagnes are kept in very limited numbers in ideal conditions in Krug’s cellars? That’s right, and it’s only when Krug Cellar Master, Eric Lebel, tastes and appraises the tipple that it then receives its cork. Created with Champagne grapes the Collection 1988 is filled with exotic and complex notes of white fruits, truffle, honey and spices on the nose. As for the palate, expect orange blossom, dried figs, cinnamon and ginger accompanied by dark chocolate, coffee and maple syrup.
