Quinta de Soalherio's Alvarinho, or Albarino as it is known in Spain, offers a good texture and weight on the palate. Featuring a complex array of firm flavours and fine acidity to start and finishing with a fruity lingering aftertaste of white flowers and peaches. Nestled between the Peneda mountains and the Minho river Joao and his son Luas Cerdeira nurture 14 hectares of prime Alvarinho vineyards. The dark granite soils and the north facing aspects allow warm sunshine to slowly ripen the grapes giving both attractive clean aromatics with classic freshness and minerality.
