If you’re looking to expand your horizons where wine tasting is concerned, allow us to offer this Rebula white wine, by Slovenian winery Edi Simčič. It’s made from purely Ribolla Gialla grapes grown in 25 to 35-year-old vineyards with mineral-rich, salty soil that reflects in this expression. Notes of oak, vanilla, almond and butter are typical of the Brda region, with fruity, bready tones lifting from the nose.
