Designed for Alessi, Marcello Jori's eponymously titled Fleurs de Jorì collection is made to tell a story; and for this hanging bauble? That story is of the Lily of the Valley flower. Normally camouflaged by snow, these delicate blooms take centre stage for the Mughetti e Smeraldi ornament, carefully hand-painted onto a delicate porcelain orb to more closely resemble a piece of jewellery than a seasonal decoration.
