Chateau Certan was built around 1800 and is currently owned by the Thienpont family. This 2014 Pomerol red wine is an exquisite blend that's made up of merlot, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon varieties. The grapes are gently crushed before being sorted into oak vats by variety, then run into 100% new French oak barrels and aged for 18 months. On the nose is a sweet bouquet of black cherries, liquorice, roasted herbs, smoke, and cassis.
