Rabanne Fragrance

Rabanne has been breaking the mould since its launch over five decades ago, thanks to its subversive attitude and unconventional use of materials – note the shimmering chainmail silhouettes of the 60s. The latest collection saw these early gestures revisited as flurries of latex and head-to-toe metallic silver swarmed the latest show. And when it comes to the label’s fragrance, there’s a clear synergy between the runway and the bottle.

Working to capture the new era of eminence, Paco Rabanne imagines its latest gold-toned vial in the shape of a miniature model with futuristic sunglasses and a slinky chainmail dress (of course). And while we’re on the topic of metals, the iconic gold-toned faceted diamond and bullion bar-inspired falcons nod to the lashings of gleaming fabrics and radical textures seen each season on the runway.

While Paco Rabanne’s bottles are sculptural and endearing, the concoctions inside are equally as striking and audacious. The collection boasts zesty top notes of orange and raspberry, rich base aromas of patchouli, honey and amber and floral highlights of jasmine and bergamot. You’ll also discover cocktails contrasting with spicy and musky scent profiles sprinkled with unexpected peppermint flourishes.
