Founders Albert Hanschin and Carl Ronus were early pioneers of circular knitting, a practice thathelps to distribute the weight of the garment for a more even finish. They began manufacturing undergarments on machines specially developed for this technique. 

The high-quality natural fibres the pair chose for their craft are still at the centre of the brand's products - with some embellishments picked up in the years since.
