When the company was founded in 1964, Romano Seletti used it to import tin cups and placemats from the East and sell them in the markets surrounding his Italian home in Cicognara, Mantova. Then in 1987, his 17-year-old son, Stefano, joined the firm and set the brand on a new trajectory. Fuelled by his passion for pop art, the label began manufacturing its own quirky, contemporary homeware – the likes of which are still the company's metier today. You'll find fragments of assorted china fused together with gold veins, and arresting photographic cut-outs printed onto smooth enamel. Neat stripes, floral motifs and squared saucers offer unexpected touches across the collection too.
