A mainstay of the label’s collections since the early 1900s, Cartier’s Panthère de Cartier really came into its own under the creative direction of Jeanne Toussaint – whose her real-life pseudonym was, in fact, The Panther. Not all about jewellery, though, the collection includes trinkets for the home: this set of matches included. Defined by the languishing big cat, each of the three cylindrical boxes are filled with 80 matchsticks.
