Sir Paul Smith opened his first shop in ’70; more than 40 years on, he is one of the few London-based designers to combine commercial success with critical credibility (he’s even been knighted by HRM The Queen). Made in Italy, this Kensington-fit suit is crafted from a soft wool-mohair blend then tailored through the shoulders, chest, and waist. While the tapered trousers offer a lean silhouette, the double-vent back ensures easy movement as you travel from one meeting to the next.

• Exposed button fastenings and concealed hook-and-eye and zip-fly fastenings at front

• Notch lapels, buttonhole at lapel, single-breasted, padded shoulders, long sleeves, four non-functioning buttoned cuffs, welt pocket at front, darts at front, two flap pockets at front, fully lined, double-vent at back, curved hem


• Trousers:


• Slim-fit, mid-rise, tapered leg, belt loops, two slop pockets at front, pressed centre creases at front and back, darts at back, two jet pockets at back, partially lined, unfinished hems - ready for tailoring
