The GF-2 is an ultra-compact external flash with a Guide Number of 3 (ISO 100-m), designed for portability and ease of use. When paired with the RICOH GR IV, it enables automatic light control, making flash photography effortless and reliable.

Specifically designed for the high-end compact digital camera RICOH GR IV, the GF-2 is small and lightweight enough to slip into a pocket—even while attached to the camera.
Simple, Automatic Operation
When used with the GR IV and set to ISO AUTO, the GF-2 supports automatic light control. The camera adjusts guide number and ISO sensitivity based on subject distance, allowing quick, seamless flash photography without interrupting the snapshooter experience.
Note: On cameras with different terminal layouts than the GR IV (including older GR series models), the GF-2 will operate only at full flash. For the GR III/GR IIIx series, a firmware update (planned for release around October 2025) will extend functionality to automatically adjust flash exposure according to focus results.
Rechargeable Built-In Battery
The GF-2 features an integrated lithium-ion battery, rechargeable via USB Type-C. This ensures stable flash performance regardless of the camera body’s remaining battery power.
