Marcelo Gaia is a romantic at heart; his creations for his label Mirror Palais are inspired by vignettes from his life, such as growing up in 90s New York and his mother’s wardrobe. Referencing the former, the Ballet dress is whipped up in silk-satin to a nostalgic slip silhouette with barely-there straps and moulded cups trimmed in intricate lace.
