Legendary fashion house Rabanne has been breaking the mould ever since its launch in 1966. Were it not for the Spanish Civil War, the brand's striking clothing and accessories might have borne a very different moniker: the eponymous designer was originally born Francisco Rabaneda y Cuervo but changed his name when he arrived in France after fleeing the conflict. The young visionary launched his collection of womenswear while experimenting with contemporary materials such as moulded plastic and hammered metal, giving a sculptural quality to his work.

That early gesture is still part of today's collection. You'll spot shimmering woven-brass scarves and chainmail clutches amongst our selection of clothing, jewellery and accessories.
