The Dalmore's history dates back to King Alexander III who awarded the 12-pointed Royal stag emblem to the ancestor of the distillery's founder – a symbol which adorns the front of its whiskey bottles today. The brand's latest iteration is a true showcase of its passion for the drink. Why? Quintessence is the first and only malt whiskey in the world to have a five red wine cask finish, accentuating notes of black forest fruit, ginger, and baked banana. This sweet flavour on the palate certainly gets our stamp of approval.
