Mr Peter Wells (Percy, for short) is the name that inspired
Cheshire & Wain – he just happens to be a British Shorthair cat. His owner Sonja Farrell struggled to find a vet-recommended collar when he first joined the family, and so set out to design her own. She has since finalised the perfect leather iteration with a safety breakaway buckle, lined in soft suede and with a removable bell. This edition even comes in a caviar-inspired tin for storing your kitty’s catnip afterwards.
- Cheshire & Wain leather cat collar
- Leather, suede-lined
- Solid brass hardware, stitched edge detail, discreet breakaway clip, presented in a special-edition novelty caviar tin, caviar grain leather
- Standard 19-25cm
- Made in UK
- The material will adapt with time as the collar comes into contact with the natural oils in your cat’s coat. Colours may become darker and richer through wear as the leather matures
- Cheshire & Wain collars are not suitable for kittens or cats that weigh less than 2.5kgs / 5.5lbs. We advise that your cat is at least 4 months old to wear a Cheshire & Wain collar unattended.
- Wrap a tape measure around your cat's neck allowing room to fit 1-2 fingers between the tape measure and the neck.
- Note down the measurement which will be your cat's neck circumference. (If you don't have a tape measure - use a piece of string and a ruler)
- If your cat already wears a collar that fits well, you can also take it off and measure the inside circumference when it's done up to find out your cat's neck size.
