Cara Sur, meaning South Face, is a name inspired by the treacherous mountain-scape that overlooks the vineyards. This Tino wine is made by Sebastian Zuccardi in Argentina from Bonarda grapes, grown at 1,500 metres above sea level at the Maggio Estate vineyard. The vines are over 50 years old, so you can expect rustic flavours with notes of spiced red fruit – best enjoyed with red meat on a sunny day.
