Arguably best known for her passionate romance with Napoleon, Chaumet’s famous muse, Empress Joséphine, also led a life as a keen botanist in the gardens and potting sheds of the Chateau de Malmaison – and it’s this passion that inspired the French jeweller’s Hortensia collection. Set on a Milanese mesh bracelet, the diamond-studded bezel of this Eden watch is strewn with sparkling petals made to mimic a “fresh and feminine garden”.
