1. Wash rice well before cooking.

2. Add 60g of rice per person to a pan with double the amount of freshly boiled water.

3. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce to a low heat, add a tightly fitting lid and simmer for 6 minutes. Check the texture is to your preference, cooking for longer if a softer texture is desired.

4. When the rice is cooked to your preference remove the pan from the heat, drain any excess water and the return rice to the pan. Leave to stand with the lid on for 2 minutes.

5. Fluff the grains, serve and enjoy!
