Last year, winemaker Hervé Dantan of
Lanson decided to release the 7,870 Clos Lanson bottles that were produced in 2006 from the brand's 1-hectare Clos plot, nestled in the heart of the city of Reimes. Housed in a wooden box and in an individually numbered bottle, this exclusive and rare wine was vinified in wood for 6-8 months to create its delicate flavour. A rare find for any
champagne connoisseur.
