Smooth Ambler is an apt name for this label, as the founders travel through America in search of the most quaffable drams. Check out the brand’s Old Scout tipple; it’s a blend of two whiskeys, with the first aged in new, oak barrels and the other matured in rejuvenated bourbon casks. We’re sure you’re just about ready to crack open the seal, but here are the notes anyway: warm cinnamon, ginger and tobacco mellowing into chilli chocolate.
