Since its inception, Maison
Boucheron has been fixated with animals: the master jeweller itself says that nature is “an inexhaustible source of inspiration”, with each of the house’s creatures acting as a talisman that brings protective powers to the wearer. One of its most iconic beasts? The Serpent; far from its real-life counterpart, though, the Parisian label’s iteration uses a set of pear-shaped pendants set to reinvent the snake’s head for this 18-carat yellow-gold necklace, adorning each one with sparkling diamonds or a single lapis lazuli stone.
