Maison Tardieu-Laurent is a négociant producer which focuses on accurately translating terroir and vintage. Father and son Michel and Bastien Tardieu favour minimal intervention, and prefer large oak foudres to barrels thanks to their slow, measured exposure of the wine to oxygen – a process which produces complex, intense wines like the
Hermitage Blanc. This heady tipple combines notes of Bourbon barrel wood, caramel and smouldering spiced nuts with fragrant white peach and apricot.
