A strong focus on vegan and plant-based materials is how we’d best describe
Virón – the sustainable footwear label founded by Belgian designer Mats Rombaut. A signature style, the
1968 low-top trainers, are sculpted from vegan leather (made from corn waste, grown for the food industry in the region of Bolzano in Northern Italy) and grounded with thick outsoles made from recycled rubber. Sustainable and stylish? Consider us impressed.
