Owned by Francois Mitjaville of Tertre Roteboeuf – producer of the renowned Saint Emilion Grand Cru –
Roc de Cambes mirrors its sister property in both its aspect and its geology. This 2014 vintage is made using merlot, cabernet sauvignon and a small amount of malbec grapes, plucked from vines averaging 45 years old. The result? A fruity palate with mellow, well-integrated tannins, notes of cherry, raspberry and chocolate, and a toasty finish.
