Founded as a creative collective by Jonny Johansson in 1996, this Swedish brand's unusual name is an acronym for Ambition to Create Novel Expressions – and that's just what it does. Tactile fabrics do the talking, with unexpected textures like faux fur and lightweight crepe giving pieces a slightly eclectic air. Our favourite part? Johansson focuses on planet-friendly capsule collections, made entirely from Acne Studios's repurposed materials. Excess cut-offs are saved from the factory and pieced together to design interesting new styles.
