- How to look after Mac: Mac is a begonia maculata. They’ll tolerate a shady spot but much prefer somewhere that gets bright, indirect sunlight. Keep their soil moist and water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Feed them once a month in spring and summer, and give them a mist every few days to keep their spotty leaves happy and healthy.
