After Katherina Kaminski received the life-changing diagnosis that she was born intersex, she began honing in on her craft as a sculptor to embark on a journey of self-discovery. The result? The LUMINOUS BEINGS collection for AMEN. Using stoneware, she shaped bulbous creatures like the Philo 420 design, complete with asymmetrical curves and a silhouette that defies the norm. Finished with a candle at the top, this sculpture glows in the dark and creates shifting shadows that give life to the bodily form.
