Founded in 1776,
Louis Roederer is one of the last family-run winemakers in the Champagne region – part of the reason it’s so prestigious. The rest of its fame can be attributed to the fact that it produces vintages like this brut champagne. A testament to the exceptional growing year that was 2014, it’s a golden tipple that pours into the glass with silky-smooth, vibrant bubbles. On the tongue, it’s an effervescent bouquet of sweet peach and slightly tart redcurrants, plus just a dash of spice, smoke and cocoa.
