Luminosity checked double-breasted wool coat

While Zimmermann’s exuberant prints have been known to leave us pining for a tropical escape, the AW23 collection introduces a softer palette that’s more impressionist painting than picture postcard. Entitled ‘Luminosity’, the line-up draws on the ‘warmth and optimism’ Rupert Bunny’s work – a 19th century artist who often depicted women posing leisurely. The result? Relaxed pieces like this wool coat, which imbues a sense of ease with its oversized lapels and slouchy shoulder epaulettes.
