Considering Alexander McQueen is a label based in the heart of London, a city steeped in rich history and heritage, Sarah Burton didn’t have to look far for inspiration for Resort ’22. Channelling the work of poet, playwright and printmaker William Blake, the Creative Director whips up a plethora of neatly tailored pieces, including this maxi skirt. Embellished with a row of ruffles running across the front, the ankle-skimming style is shaped to a billowing silhouette.
