Clonakilla recently celebrated its 50th birthday, but founder John Kirk couldn't have dreamed what his vineyard would grow into when he planted those first vines in 1971. Recognised as one of Australia's most celebrated cool climate shiraz, this red wine has the fruity flavour associated with the Hilltops region. Boasting a deep red colour and complexity, it's followed by strong, dark berries on the nose, ripe, silky tannins on the palate and a spicy finish.
