If you could travel back to China in 200AD, you’d still find people drinking the traditional spirit, baijiu. Literally translating from Chinese to English as “white liquor”, it’s distilled at the Xinghuacun Fenjiu distillery from a mix of sorghum and water in various quantities. This Fen Chiew bottle is also matured for ten years. Opening with a floral nose, that strong taste of rice filters through on the palate. Serve neat on the side of cold dishes during a meal.
