For generations, Código 1530’s tequila has been passionately enjoyed by a select group of Mexico’s most respected families, but, for the first time, the distillery is veering from the old customs by introducing its beverages to market—so here’s your chance to imbibe something really special. This Tequila Añejo cooks fully matured agave in stainless steel ovens, where it’s then fermented with organic baker’s yeast, distilled twice and left to rest for 18 months in Cabernet French White Oak wine barrels to give it an oak fruit finish with hints of vanilla and spice.
