Time for a hike in the country? Don't forget your Silver Falls gilet by Columbia. Ideal for everything from wood chopping to après-ski (when you're done with the country hike, that is), it's a funnel-neck style cut from quilted, water-resistant shell and stuffed with recycled insulation. As for the rest of the details, it's left relatively sparse, save for simple and secure side slip pockets and contrasting branding at the chest.
